Would you tell your story if you have been Infected with Covid-19 ?

Not all people are open in telling their stories about their exposure with this Covid-19. Are there things that are holding them back to tell ? Is it not a good point to tell your story so as others will not be infected ? Or is it the discrimination that will happen you anticipates ?

Well, we cannot really force people to do that. But looking at the benefits , it is better to tell so as to help other people not to get infected.

Have you ever been interviewed by a contact tracer ?Me , I have not. If ever, I will tell everything I need to tell. So as to get to the magnitude of the person who have contact with. Hope everyone will be open to help the country to fight this pandemic.

Keep safe everyone and please stay at home if needed.

no for me sir walski, especially that swab test or this rapid test aren't 100% sure. malay k d nmn pala covid kundi an ordinary virus lang..tulad ng nangyari dito sa amin where in we became a victim of contact tracing as a result of a covid positive patient for only 2 days after and he insisted a second test which came out to be negative,,because he was then feeling way too good. daming pamilya tuloy nadamay. For security measures kong kaya na gamutin sa bahay better stay at home na lang my personal opinion lang po. Reply

For an ordinary people immediate reaction would be NO, because of fear for discrimination and family exposure, but as time goes by Covid-19 seemed to be normal health issue as many patients had survived and share their stories. I will definitely tell my identity for an easy contract tracing and to help control the spreading of the virus. Aside from that, you will feel the sympathy of the people, praying for your fast recovery and giving you words of encouragement. Though, we can't avoid discrimination because not all people are open-minded but still we did our best to at least lessen the burden
brought by this pandemic.

Thank you for sharing your own opinion about this matter. Not all can share their stories because of the discrimination and exposure to the public. But a survivor will do. Reply

If I remembered it right, someone here in Toluna community have admitted that he had been a COVID-19 positive patient. He shared his experiences as well as how the treatment he had undergone with the hope that it would increase awareness about the gravity of this disease. If ever I would have been positive, I would do the same as what eatee2017 planned, to create a vlog. I would also tell the truth to our neighborhood and relative as well whom I have contacted with. The control of this disease and success of contact tracing lies on us, that is telling the truth. Reply

It's good to say that you have symptoms so that you can be treated immediately and do not panic and do not be afraid to tell everyone where you came from to find out who else may be affected...somebody can help and everything will be fine.. ;) Reply

If I get the virus, I will tell the contact tracers where I have been. I think they should know the places I have been so that the people who visited these places will also be warned that they probably have the virus and they should also do a self quarantine. I may also write a short blog about the experience of having this virus. Maybe, I will share it here so that fellow Toluners will get a picture of how serious or not serious is this virus. Reply
